User Content: We collect the content you create, upload, or share on Recs, including recommendations, asks, comments, photos, and other interactions.

Usage Information: We automatically collect information about how you use Recs, such as your interactions with content, browsing preferences, and feature usage.

Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access Recs, including device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.

Contacts (Optional): If you grant permission, we access your device contacts solely to help you find friends who are already using Recs. We do not store your contacts on our servers.

Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store a device token to send you relevant updates about activity on your account.

To connect you with friends and other users in the Recs community

With other users: Your profile, recommendations, and asks are visible to other Recs users based on the visibility settings you choose.
Service providers: We use third-party services (such as Supabase for data storage and Expo for push notifications) that process data on our behalf.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Choose visibility settings for your recommendations and asks
Request deletion of your account by contacting us

6. Children's Privacy

Recs is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
